Engels Logistiek BV successfully continuates its NEN-EN ISO 14001 certification.
ISO 14001 focuses on controlling and improving environmental performance by establishing and controlling an environmental management system within your organization. We, at Engels, find the future of our planet and the next generations of great importance. Quality and sustainability are two of our core values.
In concrete terms, this means that we take measures to neutralize CO², reduce our energy consumption, invest in solar power, drive only A and B labeled commercial vehicles, and our new trucks comply with the strictest EURO standards. Also in our choice of suppliers, we take care of these environmental aspects.
But we are making an even bigger contribution to a sustainable society through our cradle-to-cradle policy. This means that we encourage the reuse of our products, buy back used products from our customers and finding new users for the second-hand product in our webshop.
After this extended life cycle, our products are recycled and the material can be used to make new products.
